Tonight (wednesday) opens a show of the young artist Benny Van Den Meulengracht-Vranckx. He did a kind of internship with me, means: He rented an atelier and was working in there for a few months and from time to time i went there to drink green tea and talked with him about Japan, the relation between graphic design and art, the weather, humour and lies, ...
Tonight he will do an atelier-show with some works on paper, all under the title If You Make That Kind Of Euh Joke Then Euh We Call It Euh A Lie. This is something a Japanese friend of me said to Benny in Tokyo when he told her a 'western' joke.
